So Just to be clear the CM5 HDMI control signal meet the HDMI specification which is why there is no level shifter on the CM5IO board or we would get a pile of returns.
SDA / SCL are pulled up to 5v with a 1.8K resistor as described in the HDMI specification.
CEC is pulled up to 3.3v with 27K Resistor as described in the HDMI specification.
HPD is pulled down as described in the HDMI specification.
