that is surprising... I know some of the images that work with other pi5's without the d0 stepping don't work with the pi5's that do have the d0 stepping (basically the 2gb and 16gb models)...I had a raspberrypi 5 with 8gb ram, but now I have a raspberrypi 5 with 16 gb, but the xbox control is not possible to connect with my new raspberrypi, when I connected this control with my raspberrypi with 8gb ram it is possible, it is very strange, I don't know why it is happen, is there a possible workaround ?
I haven't heard of any cases where an individual program or peripheral had problems because of the d0 stepping. (I should mention I have a pi 5 16gb and I have had some problems with some images but no problems with programs or peripherals I made it sound like it was 2nd hand knowledge when in fact what I said above really has been my experience... I also haven't heard of any counter examples... yours is the first I've heard of, and I wouldn't rule out some kind of config issue, (although you never know))
