Someone pointed out to me that page 27 of the ILI9806e spec shows GPIO configuration for "DSWAP' and "PSWAP" that will let you swap the polarity and number of the data channels.

Is this something that I can use?
Can you get to the physical pins of the ILI9806e on your display? DSWAP and PSWAP are electrical inputs to the chip that will be tied high or low to configure the chip. They aren't registers that you can write.
And anyway PSWAP inverts the polarity of ALL clock and data lanes, not just lane D0 that you want.
