After playing through all the Resident Evil games, I now have my favorite Resident Evil games.
I played the early games 20 years ago or when they came out. Replayed the games to remember better! Here is my top five list of Resident Evil:
1. Resident Evil 2 (1998) - [PS1]
2. Resident Evil 1 (2002) - [GC]
3. Resident Evil 4 (2005) - [GC]
4. Resident Evil - Code: Veronica (2000) - [DC]
5. Resident Evil 3 (1999) - [PS1]
And yes, I've played all the newer ones too. Don't like them! :/ If I were to put a six, it would probably have been Resident Evil Zero (2002) for GC. Missing pre-rendering backgrounds. Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 are in 3D.
Hope the pre-rendering backgrounds are not a dying art style and will come back. Do you have a top list of Resident Evil games?
