540 Mbit/s is lowest level OSI layer 1 speed (PHY). That is how WiFi specified and communicated. When channel coding and packet-loss collisions re-transmits etc are also taken into account, which is the case for a real traffic transfer test, you will get much lower values. So your 100Mbps is not that strange.
Also you include the internet in your test. You should do a local test (iperf3), not internet speed testing.
