Wow, that did indeed help! I was now able to transfer blinky to a normal Pico (have yet to try it out for a Pico W).

I've followed the steps given by user nezbrun. Btw this is a super helpful step-by-step guide and ought not be buried in the depths of the forums.

Though I would use debugprobe.

As I see it, the SDK documentation already suggests that by omitting the wiring diagram Pi GPIOs to Pico.
