I just have tested a simple UART python program using GPIO 14 and GPIO 15 on the CM4 IO board. It is working on CM4 IO board.

I also have enabled UART in the file config.txt on pin GPIO 4 and GPIO 5. It is also working fine on the CM4 IO board.

I understand that the firmware (bootloader) console is only available at GPIO 14 and GPIO 15.

On our application board, we only have GPIO 4 and GPIO 5 routed on the pin header for connecting cables. We don't have GPIO 14 and GPIO 15 available on the application board. Kindly suggest what can be done.
Nothing! As you can't 'magically' change the firmware.
Having read the spec/documentation should have Made you aware of this limitation.
