Raspberry pi 5. Normally i boot off NVMe drive. Works well. Can boot off micro sd which i also use to periodically keep a copy of the os from NVMe drive. Want to allow PINN to be available to show me alt os that I wish to try,
I connected a ssd via usb connector and use ras pi imager to erase it. Then used ras pi imager to install PINN. selected 2 os to install on ssd/usb. Rebooted. I have previously set boot-Order = 0xf146 to put boot order to micro ssd, usb/ssd with PINN and lastly NVMe.
Rebooted but it booted from NVMe.
I want it to boot from micro ssd if present, if not boot to PINN and let me select, if no PINN drive, boot to NVME.
Suggestions?
