Rather than professional, my strategy has been at an amateur level as needed.Quite - I agree. It was a specious argument. I think that when a thread reaches the point where people start contriving scenarios to try to present something in the worst and most pejorative possible way without being able to back it up with any real evidence just to win an argument then I'm done with that thread. When they also start disparaging views that don't align with their own as "nonsense" then I'm definitely done with it.I've never seen energy efficiently mentioned as an advantage of Wayland over X11.
And I don't need to speculate about what professional system & software developers think about.
Fido was better at backups and a scheduled scrub, but the kittens don't like a scrub. After the crashes due to those ECC errors, the drive pool became so dirty I had to start over. Maybe it'd be better to run backups when not in degraded mode.
Fortunately, it helps to be lucky and those kittens always land on their feet.
