General • Re: Pico 2 PIO for SPI (SD Card) on arbitrary GPIO pins?

The GPIO config tables show I can use GPIO16-17 for UART1 TX/RX and GPIO20-21 for UART0 TX/RX though the Pico 2 pinouts don't show the latter as a valid option.
The official Pico2 pinout picture is rather incomplete. Take the datasheet as a reference.
Or other pictures like (click Advanced) https://pico.pinout.xyz/.

Moreover, while you cannot change the pin-function designation, you can use any combinations of those (not necessarily in adjacent pairs), for example can use UART0 RX -> GPIO17 and UART0 TX -> GPIO28.
So the question is if I can use a PIO-derived SPI with any available SD card FAT and file libraries and if there might be working examples? I was doing a lot of poking around github, Pico examples and broad web searching and didn't see an example that connects all these together, so thought I'd ask here.
Look here at Memotech-Bill / pico-filesystem: https://github.com/Memotech-Bill/pico-filesystem
And can get in touch directly with Memotech Bill (just ignore the scaremongers) in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=392806
