After I put some delay I realized that momentarily, resolution set as I intended and I can see the 2x. It looks like in current situation there is no way to add DBLCLK to the modeline. Also I tested 8mhz modeline(EDID) but DRM doesnt double the pixel clock automatically.
Why we cant just add another modeline with atomic commit as drm_edid.c reads from the actual edid binary?
