On my Rpi 4 with debian trixie, I've tried to get the RPI access-point (hotspot) working with WPA3, using NetworkManager via
But it does not work.
In fact I can see the rpi's ssid, with WPA3 (!) appear, if I scan for ssid's with my laptop with command: nmcli dev wifi
but everytime I try and connect to that ssid, it fails to connect and running journalctl -f on my laptop I can see "denied authentication" error. But I know I entered the password correctly!
