Hi,
I have 3 RPI Debug Probes. Over time the probes are failing. At least the SWD side of the probe. Attempting to flash a Pico or Pico2 gets the error "DP: cannot read IDR". You will probably tell me it's a cable issue, but I can literally switch the debug probe for a second probe and it will all work fine.
When the first probe failed, I just assumed one of those things. But then a second has also failed! Seems like a repeating problem. Has anyone else had this? Does anyone know what is causing it?
My analysis. S/w update does not resolve the issue. The Uart side of the probe works fine. The connector appears undamaged, and I can't see any damage to the soldering on the connector.
I did try to send one back through ThePIHut, but they ignored my RMA request.
Interested in anyone's thoughts on this.
