I have all the pieces needed to build this Europi with the Master Clock firmware...
I'd assume if you're reading this, is because you know what a Europi is and/or you're a musician or a DIYer...

Europi makes extensive use of the excellent PIGPIO library (https://github.com/joan2937/pigpio), in particular the I2C functions, PWM functions, and alert functions.
The main Internal clock is generated by establishing a PWM output on GPIO pin 18 (physical pin 12) against which a Callback function is registered. This callback function is therefore called each time the PWM output changes state. An internal counter divides this clock by 96 to give an internal resolution of 96 pulses per quarter note PPQN.
The base firmware looks like this, a uf2 file.
There is also a new version for the Pico2!

I'm very curious to try this project with the rpi community, I have been wondering, why couldnt we
use a regular rpi like 4 or 5 to make such a project, maybe working in real time, on a separate, second SPI screen,
whilst maintaining the main raspi OS active doing its other things in the meantime... maybe it is not
possible... maybe with just one rpi it instead could be possible to multiplex 10 Europi!!!
If nobody has tried before, how do we know it's impossibl===E![:mrgreen:]( "Mr. Green")
