It's a great combination to make PDFs. Typst is a great tool that TinyMist uses as its input. Its basically a newer and not insane version of Latex, easier to use, easy to make templates etc. Its also very very fast so you get real time display (In a VSCode window) of the changes you are making as they will look in a resulting PDF.
