don't know that product but wouldn't be too surprised If they use an HDMi-to-DPI Bridge for the LCD. Seeing hdmi_drive=2 reminds me on TFP401.

where do you get that EDID from? is the actually an EEPROM connected to the DDC Interface of HDMI-1?
viewtopic.php?p=2206120&hilit=ddc+hdmi#p2206724 gives you some idea how to check.

btw: are you sure the LCD is on HDMI-1? a CM4 can only do UHD@60Hz on HDMI-1, so a designer would Most likely reserve that resources for an external HDMI monitor -> connecting the LCD to HDMI-2. would explain that a video mode in kernel command line shows no effect.
