I agree that the blue screening PC is unrelated - you should not be able to blue screen a PC simply using SSH - it's just a net connection.
100k (assuming kelvin?) is -173C, so that is pretty cold, well beyond anything we have tested. 65F (mixed units!!!!) is 18C so for the core temp of Pi that is also very cold. Maybe the SD card is failing at those temperatures? They are certainly not rated for that low a temperature.
