Hmm. This display does not use I2C. Does this mean that the driver needs to send certain byte values via the MIPI interface before starting the video transmission? Is this the slow/fast transfer thing?
because of that question it comes to my mind that this task might be over your head!
As said by @csteinkuehler you will have to have the details on the power on sequence as wel as the displays init sequence. Knowing the init sequence will also let you know how much effort it is to get that working.
