That would be how I would expect it to work: It doesn't make sense to use whatever keyboard is plugged into the server Pi (the one being remotely controlled), since the remote user is not actually using that keyboard, and may also be completely unaware what its layout actually is. The remote user is using their own keyboard, which may have a different layout, so the layout Connect uses for that user should be the layout of that particular remote user's keyboard....
I want to use the layout of the keyboard whose keys I actually press.
