Change always prompts good and bad comments but I see 'negativity' limited to presentation and style rather then content, and intended as constructive criticism.There is quite a lot of negativity around this topic at the moment.
I really did struggle to find a copy on the shelves in WH Smiths and do believe the banner change was a part of that, and it really was difficult for me to read in-store.
As said, I'm not a purchaser, I grab the free PDF, but it is nice to take a peek before that is made available if there's an article which seems to be of interest.
Like some others I only purchase if there is a cover freebie. I got lucky with HackSpace and its free Pico because we were still in Covid lockdown. At any other time freebies are grabbed by the local Hack Clubs as soon as the shops open and no one else gets a look in.
