I'm using an official Raspberry Pi 7" Touch Display with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm. I tried to rotate the screen by setting on the Screen Layout Editor the Screen Orientation to inverted. Pressing Apply opens a window that asks for the password. After entering the correct password the same window appears again, and again, and again.... resulting in an endless loop.
What's going wrong?
