Thanks - rpiMike & bensimmo. I've now got it reading the GPS module. I used the "serial0" designation and bingo it worked ![:D]( "Very Happy")
. However (there's always one of those ![:(]( "Sad")
) I think the gps module itself may be faulty as the sentences are empty except for headers, commas etc. This was tested indoors but next to another identical module connected by a 3DR radio which has no problem receiving signals. I've now ordered another module to see how that goes. Keeping my fingers crossed.
