I used SD Card Copier to copy an SD to image an NVME SSD drive. Some files were either lost of corrupted due to a manual hardware reboot (using the pi5 button). I've inserted the original SD card and tried booting off it (changed boot sequences) but it still boots from the NVME.
I've found that the NVME and SD have the same UUID.
I am ok with formatting the SSD, or copying the SD over the SSD (I can't do that unless I can actually boot from the SD)
Things I've tried:
- disconnect NVME SSD, boot from SD, change boot sequence to make SD first. Shut down. Plug SSD back in. Power on. Still boots from NVME
I've found some things online about changing UUID's but not 100% the instructions were right.
A fix for me may be formatting the NVME but I would have to do that whilst booting from it, if this is possible I'm OK with that.
Basically I have an NVME I can't format, reimage or anything atm.
