Hello,
I have just flashed the latest raspbian lite (without desktop) in a rpi 3B+.
I can ping the rpi so the ETH is okay.
Out of the box, SSH does not works
=> added an empty ssh file on the boot partition
=> ssh works, but std login/pwd does just not works
Quite boring.
The console also don't works, with an official and tested FTDI cable.
The rpi hardware was used before for other project and is working fine.
I'm going to re-flash the sd card with custom ssh password, but seriously, this image I burned is without desktop. How are we supposed to do if both ssh and console are not enabled by default and/or not working ?
Thank you for your help
PS - I'm not a software expert, just a 15y+ hardware engineer. My latest project was to build a custom hardware to replace a rpi compute module by a more industrial and secure processor. When it takes more than 30min to get a console with one of the world largest used hardware+software, it's just absolutely frustrating.
