Yes, it's single or dual DSI-lane, depending on what you initialize it for (not: for the panels resolution single lane would be o.k.).
If the manufacturer is unable/unwilling to provide you with the initial sequence then you're screwed! Find another panel were all the required data can be obtained.
Bringing a DSI display to life is not a beginners task btw.
