It’s definitely possible to control multiple lights from a single Pi. For this, you just need to manage the power externally. The GPIO pins are perfect for logic signals, but they can't provide enough current to power LED strips or lamps directly. you must know about this limitation.

If you're looking for an easy, no-solder way to handle 5+ channels, a PCA9685 PWM controller is a great shout. It uses I2C (only 2 pins on the Pi) and can independently dim up to 16 channels using external power.
