I still think the Amiga era was peak gaming & home computing. There was such a great variety of games. The Pi 5 is a great little computer nowadays for Amiga emulation, I'm less interested in old console games (actually quite sad they took over), some old PC games are fun.
Maybe the RAM/GPU shortage will encourage devs to be more efficient, and focus more on gameplay instead of fancy graphics, but I'm not sure people have the attention span or imagination these days. At the end of the day they only make what people will buy.
