One product I'd love, albeit far fetched, would be a mini graphics card for the Pi 5, so we could benefit from hardware video acceleration, and better desktop/gaming performance, and also a SDK to learn how to program it.
A certain YouTuber has done a lot of work getting existing graphics cards to work, but it's horribly complicated and massive overkill. It would be great to have a miniaturised GPU for the Pi, even with much lower performance (I'm thinking really basic, the most basic it could be).
If designing a mini GPU from scratch is not commercially viable, a second processor might be another option, if for example the Pi had a modern interpretation of the Beeb's tube interface? Are there any existing chipsets that could be reused to do this?
Might be a good way to limit the cost of future versions of the Pi, so folks only buy the GPU or second processor as an option if they need the extra performance.
Also, a dark themed Pi 500+ (black/grey), and some fun keycap sets (or links to approved ones). I don't ask much![Smile :)]()
Keep up the good work![Smile :)]()
