That’s exactly what I’ve done and it won’t boot. And being headless I’m not able to see why.In the same way you would use an SD card USB reader to write the Raspberry Pi OS image to the MicroSD card, you can use an NVMe USB enclosure to write the Raspberry Pi OS to the NVMe drive before fitting it to the Raspberry Pi NVMe HAT.Is there any way to use Raspberry Pi imager to write an image to NVMe for headless use?
The board has a bent pin on the fan connector, making it impossible to attach a cooling fan, so I’m getting a replacement. Is it possible it won’t boot to NVMe unless a cooling fan is detected?
