I am putting together a media center using a Raspberry Pi 400 and OSMC for a family member. He lives several states away, and so I would ideally like to be able to remote-in to the device to troubleshoot any problems he might have, while also avoiding as much work on his end as possible (for instance, having to assign it a static IP, etc).
If it were running Raspberry Pi OS, the obvious solution would be to set up Raspberry Pi Connect and register the device with my account...does anyone know if it's doable/feasible to install/run rpi-connect on a Pi that is using a different OS? Any info is greatly appreciated!
