Wireless connect a Raspberry Pi 500 to ceiling projector
At school, we have smart projectors that we can use that DO NOT have any HDMI connections available (dumb, but unavailable, don't ask)
They are ONLY set up for people to CAST from their Chromebooks and Laptops via MiraCast.
I would like to mirror my Pi500 desktop to one of these television for a demo/presentation.
I have searched until I am blerry-eyed and cannot figure out how to install MiraCast/MiracleCast on my unit to accomplish this.
I know that I could buy a dongle, but would need to use a hub to attach the USB power for the dongle and the HDMI->miniHDMI adapter and everything else associated with that.
To answer some of the suggestions:
NO, projectors not have a web-browser installed.
NO, I cannot use VNC.
NO, I do not want to use another laptop connected to the projector and use VNC/Connect/similar.
If I could find a TINY Miracast Transmitter that does no need any USB power, that MIGHT be sufficient.
Preferably, I would like a software only solution, but cannot figure out how to install MiracleCast.....
Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciate.
