What do i have to check?

That the VL6180X seemingly used is equivalent to the vl53l1x you refer to.
That it is actually I2C bus compliant.
That it's not using a Device Address the I2C Scan will not detect.
That pull-ups on SDA and SCL are present and appropriate.
That the SHUT pin is connected however it should be.
That you haven't mis-wired anything.
That all connections have continuity.
That your software configuration matches the hardware wiring used.
That you are running the I2C bus at an appropriate speed.
That the I2C Scan routine does detect other I2C devices.
Whether it works with your second and third sensor board.
Whether it works with a sensor board from a different supplier.
