Has anyone else experienced the issue of a Raspberry Pi 5 being inaccessible from other machines on the network until the Ethernet cable is unplugged and then plugged back in? If so, did you find a fix?
In case it matters, the Pi is running the lite (no desktop) version of Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm).
Alternately, is there some kind of script that could be run at bootup that would check the network interface to see if it has connectivity (perhaps by pinging the router) and if not it would take down the network interface, wait a second or two, and then try bringing it up again? Or would that not work?
