I'm working with Compute Module 5 with waveshare nano A for CM5 and I'm trying to use both camera ports with camera module 3.
I've already set up the config.txt with (dtoverlay=imx708, cam0 and dtoverlay=imx708, cam1) I know the syntax is right because the cam1 overlay works.
I've already checked the cameras and cables, indeed everything that goes in MIPI1 port works properly. I've also changed the waveshare nano A and still only MIPI1 camera works.
When the camera is on CAM0, dmesg shows the error: imx708 0-001a: failed to read chip id 708, with error -5
Since I've already replaced the carrier board and the fault is identical, is it possible the Compute Module 5 itself is defective? Or is there something which is not working properly software-side that I'm missing?
