I am simply trying to burn a usb which I have done many times but now I find there have been changes.
I use the Pi headless and using the Raspberry Pi OS Lite (64-bit) on a Pi4B, I open Raspberry Pi Imager and fill in what I can, then press ctrl + shit + x to get the advanced page. Totally I have entered username, password and selected ssh. Close it and burn. I try ssh in and can never continue because the password is refused.
I have tried burning the image using linux too, with the same result.
I have tried the suggestions mentioned in this web page:
