It looks like you are using the Mosquitto MQTT Broker. If you are having problems with the Broker running properly you are best to ask on the Mosquitto Forum https://forum.cedalo.com/c/eclipse-mosquitto/17The issue is I'm trying to get the HA to talk to Pi Zero 2 W via MQTT. HA reports connection failed. Look at the Pi and it is reporting MQTT errors when trying to start the MQTT services
FWIW, I find I have to wrapper MQTT Client calls in tests for connectivity and reconnection logic.
