Update!
I flashed one of the SD cards of the original pis onto the new ones, and the code works again!
Working theory is that the processing sound library (and potentially processing itself?) is just unhappy with the 2025 32-bit OS - and was not working because of it being made for older versions of the os. Given the version of processing was depreciated as mentioned, that might be another factor?
In anycase, going to flash the rest of them and make sure they all work![:)]( "Smile")
