Please point me to the correct forum if this has been posted before, or if I am in the wrong place.
I'm thinking of using a LED matrix to display festive images and text on a loop, hopefully using different effects to come in and out.
The Pi Hut directed me to these forums to clarify some details.
I was looking at the Waveshare / Adafruit LED matrix on the Pi Hut - only using one to simplify things.
Firstly, is this the easiest way to do it / will it work?
Apart from the LED matrix, what else will I need - connectors and power supply etc?
Can I use a Pi 5 - as I'd like to do some retrogaming after this project?
I'm pretty confident I can work it out using tutorials from there, but any links would be appreciated.
