Compute Module • Re: CM5 dev kit and sd card issue

Hi all,

I have 2 devices. One is RPi 5 with 8GB RAM and that works normally with same sdcard.
Second device is CM5 development kit which doesn't detect SD-CARD and shows that on first screen. It boots from USB and NVMe but not from sdcard. It's not even visible when RPi OS is booted from USB or NVMe. I'm using latest Imager, same was with Bookworm and now same is with Trixie.

Any advice?

Is the CM5 module a Lite model? Or does it have on-board-factory-supplied 16/32/64Gb eMMC memory?

The message silk-screened on the CM5IO board supplied as part of the kit, adjacent to the microSD card slot, may be relevant to your query.
