One of the better games that works great on the Raspberry Pi is a PC port on The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time. Old game in a newer version. Widescreen, better graphics + many mods to play with etc.
The project is called Ship of Harkinian. Search and you will find. I'm running from an AppImage and I've extracted my own ROM file from the N64 cartridge ;).

Playing through the games once a year or so!
