My laptop came with a charger included. On the other hand, I bought a toothbrush that didn't come with a charger--a Pi 5 as well.If one does not need the 5V/5A Pi5 mode then for non Pi5 stuff the high quality bargain alternative is IKEA SJÖSS 2x USBC 45w charger. It is cheaper and can even do PPS and has very good reviews and scores very well in various tests and teardowns. There is also 30W one which is even cheaper and smaller and still very good and can still do PPS and 20V mode (unlike the Raspberry 27W one).very high quality, and the 45W one can be used to charge laptops or anything that needs lot of welly. About $18 or so. A bargain.
However the Raspberry ones are good if one prefers integrated sturdy cable and the 5V/5A mode.
The topic 8GB Pi 4 versus 4GB Pi 5 is somehow interesting even without the participation of the person making the original post. For me this is because tradeoffs are not the usual new versus used nor expensive versus cheap but related to characteristics not immediately apparent in two similar looking devices.
Which to get depends on ones intended use and thinking about all those uses is fun, though not the same sort of fun as going to the beach.
