Oh I meant with board/hardware design when someone want to just buy the processors and make there own PCB.I don't see it as being problematic. As a Pi Zero 3W (2W+ or 2W-) it will be just like every other Pi Zero and SBC, everything hidden behind abstraction layers, with only the bare metal fans having to deal with the really low-level stuff.
A little project update!!
I've done the first tests of the graphics upgrades.
Minor tearing on the bouncing ball test with out a back buffer the ball isn't really visible just flashes.
A framework like test using pure Lua yields 60 FPS the only work is calculating the FPS I see minor dips in to the 59.4 FPS but this is an exciting result. I was expecting worse, however once you add in some game logic and actual work the performance could tank. I'm guessing 30 FPS would still be acceptable once loaded down. I'll have to see if putting the frame work into the C firmware speeds things up I'd like to see 100 FPS or more with no load this way when loaded down it should still be usable.
UPDATE : The Refresh rate of my screen is 60Hz so that's why its 60 fps I think.
UPDATE: I've added some work to the update and draw functions I now have 10 circles bouncing around the screen and I still see the same frame rate as before so this is looking great!
