The Pi 5 has WiFi on board. Why do you need the usb adapter?Total newb here, nearing retirement and looking for ways to keep my brain functioning and healthy. Have a Ph.D. in a totally unrelated field (Crop and Soil Sciences, pest management emphasis). Stumbled onto Raspberry Pi5/Linux and dove in. Successfully set up the Pi 5 to run Windows 11 on BVM. Fascinating stuff. I would like to set up a TP-Link Nano USB WiFi 6 Adapter to enable W11 access to Wi-Fi. Where/how should the drivers be installed? From within the RPi environment or from within the VM environment? Any guidance is most appreciated!
According to what I've read, network resources are passed through to Windows under BVM, so if your on-board WiFi is set up and working Windows can use it.
