Hint for Issue #2 (power consumption when HDMI is connected):
I have tried connecting the official power supply (from Canakit)

and the raspberry pi zero 2 w works with HDMI connection flawlessly (with that power supply).
This begs the question:
If I want to build a portable (retro) handheld, then what kind of power supply PCB do I need (else than the combo of Adafruit PowerBoost 1000C + Battery)?
Is there a power supply PCB similar to the "Adafruit PowerBoost 1000C" which can feed my project?
