First of all, thank you very much to everyone for offering and providing help. Yes, different hostnames for SD and NVMe solved my problem. I mainly work on a tablet. That's why it's important for me to be able to access the Raspi from both my desktop and my Android tablet. The term "flawlessly" only referred to the fact that I had achieved both with the SD, and now also with the NVMe. On the tablet, I use the "Termius" app.

Thagrol, your explanation of the SSH server gave me a better and simpler understanding of how it works, so thank you for that too.

My Raspi project from the German computer magazine c't:

BASPi project:
Raspi as a backup and sync server
Our BASPi is the all-inclusive package for your data: it synchronizes your files with all devices and takes care of disaster-proof backups—automatically, privately, and securely.

synchronization
With Syncthing, you can keep your files synchronized everywhere, similar to the core function of well-known cloud storage services. The sync tool automatically copies your files to the Raspi, which serves as a central server. It immediately distributes the files to any device.

backup
The backup tool Duplicati provides additional security by backing up your files from the Raspi to any location (preferably off-site). For example, you can use a NAS, a WebDAV server, or the cloud. Your backups are always AES256-encrypted.
