Dear jamesh,And just to add, I've taken another look at the datasheet etc, and I do not think there is anything that Raspberry Pi can do here. The Bosch libraries are closed sourse (I think) so we cannot simply take those, and build them. Bosch do not appear to have published the I2C/SPI command set, so we cannot write our own library.
The excuses Bosch have given are out of date or wrong, we appear to have everything they require. So I really cannot see what we can do to help. It all appears to be in Bosch's court.
Might it be possible for Raspberry Pi to reach out to Bosch Sensortec and set up a technical and architecture working group. To help resolve the issues with respect to the BMV080 specifically and act as a means to help ensure integration compatibility with all the Bosch Sensortec sensors. Likely a win win for both organisations.
