Hippy thanks for sharing that list of boards. I have to admit I was not aware of the Waveshare option.

Looking at all the boards in Hippy's list the fruit jam still comes out as the top contender having all the bells and whistles one would want to play with. Adafruit also have great product support.

The Waveshare board looks like an interesting option the price is nice but there is no PSRAM fitted and from my very limited knowledge of DVI driver with out that extra memory you don't have much left for user code, Could be wrong about that.

The Olimex board is every close to the fruit jam and really it has some nice options as well. The have a list of compatible products and even software so that's nice to see.

I'm leaning Adafruit only because of there support and features. The price is higher and with the situation I expect that is likely out of there hands buying something from any other country would be my first choice, but I can't match the features.

Ideally I could have my project work on either of them so getting the most feature rich option means it should be easy enough to get support for these other options.
