Hello,

I received a Raspberry Pi 5 from a friend, but unfortunately it no longer seems to work. My friend told me that a small leaf from a plant accidentally got stuck behind the LAN port, near the four pins.

I would like to try troubleshooting the board – both to learn more about your devices and hopefully get it working again. I’ve already tried using a brand new SD card with freshly installed software, but unfortunately it still doesn’t do anything.

The only thing that happens is that the red LED stays solid, with no other signs of activity. I’ve inspected the board closely with a magnifying glass and I can’t see any visible damage or signs of burning.

I’ve read that there is a diagnostic or recovery tool for Raspberry Pi boards, but I haven’t been able to find it. I hope you can help me move forward with this project and let me know if there’s anything I can do to possibly bring the board back to life.

Thank you in advance for your help!
