Ok in trying many different combinations, I have gotten it to show up as bios and load in. Rebooting the Pi it didnt work, and nothing is making it work again. The only way I got it to work was to have nothing connected to it, plug in the hdmi, then plug in the power. That didnt do anything, so i attached the peripherals and the sd card to try check boot logs etc... and then it randomly worked. Repeating the same steps, nothing. So not sure what to do with it since I know it works on the TV but normally doesn't, and works 100% on the 3 screens i've tried, so its just this TV. It came through with its own EDID so i know its not invalid EDID (was sony tv info in the edid i checked). It was a horrific resolution so looks like it defaulted to something low, like 800x600 or similar.
