Changed to a Pi4 B now running
Pi OS (64-bit) Debian Bookworm, with Desktop
/boot/firmware/cmdline.txt:/boot/firmware/config.txt:What happens? well the splash screen and the cmdline prints are orientated correct at 90degrees during boot, but when the Desktop finally loads it starts in portrait normal mode.
